That Was Summer Poem

We were learning how to use alliteration in our writing. Alliteration is where you use words starting the the same letter!!!

That Was Summer!
I remember smelling the beautiful and sweet flowers.
I remember tasting the really bad taste of the salty sea water.

I remember seeing lots of buzzing bees and butterflies.

That was summer

I remember feeling all of the soft , green grass

I remember hearing so many annoying cicadas and their clicking.

That was summer.
